Publications by the former Institute for Environment and Health
The directors at IEH Consulting were instrumental in many of the publications produced by the MRC Institute for Environment and Health at Leicester University between 1993 and 2005 and the Institute of Environment and Health at Cranfield University between 2005 and 2014. We therefore have an interest in ensuring that the wealth of material produced by the these two Institutes over the last two decades remains publicly available. To this end we have established the following links to all the published IEH reports and assessments:
Air Pollution
Endocrine Disrupters
Epidemiology
Human Exposure and Risk Assessment
Food and Diet
Interdepartmental Group on Health Risks from Chemicals (IGHRC)
IEH Consulting provides the scientific Secretariat for the Interdepartmental Group on Health Risks from Chemicals (IGHRC). This role originated with the MRC Institute for Environment and Health at Leicester University, and continued with the Institute of Environment and Health at Cranfield University.
IGHRC, originally established in 1996 as the Risk Assessment and Toxicology Steering Committee (RATSC), is comprised of representatives of UK government departments, research councils and agencies, and aims to stimulate the development of new improved approaches to the assessment of risks to human health from chemicals. A major part of this initiative has been the production of a number of authoritative Guidance Documents.
